The Save Our Soul Coalition, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, organized exclusively with the mission to preserve, protect, educate, celebrate, and sustain the unique root culture of New Orleans, the sacred traditions of Congo Square, and the legacy of Louis Armstrong.

Our vision is to promote the creation of a sustainable world-class cultural facility that will generate economic opportunity for New Orleans cultural bearers, artists, musicians, and to preserve Black culture:
